Female: DUA victim of political game GP URA and Force

The Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA) is a victim of the political game led by the coalition For a new beginning and Forca after the elections on March 27, the president of the DUA said. Mehmed Zenka after it was agreed to form the government in Ulcinj without that party.

Zenka pointed out that he had "serious discussions" with Forca both before and after the elections.

The formation of a new government in Ulcinj, which was agreed late on Saturday evening by the coalition For a New Beginning (URA, DP, SD, SDP and AA) and Forca, moved DUA and DPS to the opposition benches after a long period. There will be Democrats in the same benches.

The new majority will have 19, out of a total of 33 councilors in the Ulcinj parliament.

Immediately after the election, Zenka offered the formation of a new government to Forca and DPS. He said then that he sees Forca as a natural partner, as the national party of Albanians and DPS as a party with which he has long cooperated at the local and state level. A high-ranking DPS official spoke similarly Aleksandar Bogdanović. But that didn't happen...

According to the Agreement for an honorable, new and true beginning of Ulcinj, which they signed yesterday Omer Bajraktari i Genzi Nimanbeg, the coalition "For a new beginning" and Forca will have from their ranks the presidents of the Municipality and the Assembly, according to the principle of rotation for two years. The municipality will be managed for the first two years by the staff of the "For a new beginning" coalition, it was announced after the signing of the Agreement.

The new president of the municipality, it was confirmed by "Vijesti", who will succeed him Aleksandar Dabović (DPS), in the next two-year period will be Omer Bajraktari (URA), the current coordinator of the Public Enterprise for Marine Asset Management for the municipalities of Ulcinj and Bar.

Forca, as we have learned, will probably decide today who will be appointed as the president of the local parliament for the next two years, which he has held until now Haji Suleimani (DP).

Zenka said that DUA also offered Forca "half" of everything both at the local and state level.

"DUA continues its political activities, regardless of everything and without a stain when it comes to negotiations. We will not give up on our goals, which are in the interest of the citizens and the opposition," said Zenka.

When asked if DUA negotiated with the coalition for a new start, he answered that it was once and a few days ago.

"We entered that story, ready to talk to everyone for the benefit of the city and citizens. There was nothing concrete".

President of OO DPS Driton Lunji he said that after the election, that party officially negotiated with DUA and Forca.

"Of course, we were also open to cooperation with all other political entities. We are waiting for the official announcement of the coalition, and what I want to say is that the DPS, as always, was constructive in the negotiations", said Lunji to "Vijesta".

In the whole story, the position of the Democratic Party, the current minister for minority rights, is interesting Fatmira Đeka, which was a little short of a sixth mandate, which would profile that party as the single strongest on the Ulcinj political scene. That party, which is in the coalition for a new beginning, left the most important functions to GP URA.

Đeka did not respond to messages and calls from journalists yesterday, but according to "Vijesti" information, that party expects to have other important functions in the Municipality, SO and in JP, whose founder is the Municipality.

The session of the local parliament where the mandates of councilors will be confirmed is scheduled for May 25. At the same session, as we learn, the new president of the Municipality and the Assembly will be elected.

"The Beginning of Revival"

We are convinced that the alliance will mark the beginning of economic, social, infrastructural and any other revival for the municipality of Ulcinj, and the continuation of the implementation of projects that marked the political struggle of the partners, it was announced last night after the signing of the Agreement.

"And that: completion of studies on the port and university in Ulcinj, which are included in the budget of Montenegro, construction of new hotel capacities of an exclusive category, construction of the bridge on Bojana and creation of conditions for the navigation of Bojana, continuation of the revitalization of the Old Town and the urban revival of the entire municipality", he states. in a joint statement.

It was assessed that they know that their responsibility is huge, but also that they are sure that they will succeed in making Ulcinj a much nicer place to live.

They called on the opposition to work together, "because Ulcinj belongs to all of us".
