Montenegro's membership in the EU (European Union) has no alternative, it was concluded at the meeting of the delegations of the Bosniak Party (BS) and the Austrian People's Party (OVS).
As reported by BS, the delegation of that party hosted the meeting, which was held in Podgorica with representatives of the ruling OVS.
"We are talking about parties that cooperate closely through membership in the EPP, so the meeting in Podgorica was an opportunity to discuss the current political situation both in Montenegro and the region, as well as within the European Union. At the meeting, it was concluded that Montenegro's membership in the EU "There is no alternative but that BS, as a member of the EPP, will give full support to the European integration of Montenegro. In that part, even stronger support from Austria and OVS, as members of the EPP, has been announced," the announcement reads.
BS added that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss the current political situation in Montenegro.
"The guests from Austria were informed that Montenegro got a new government, in which the Bosniak party also participates. It was estimated that the new government will work hard to speed up the EU integration of Montenegro, to strengthen the economic standard of the citizens, as well as to create the best possible regional relations ", they said from BS.
In front of BS, guests from Austria were welcomed by Admir Adrović, Secretary General of BS and Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Suljo Mustafić, Member of Parliament of Montenegro and President of BS Political Council, Sead Šahman, President of BS Youth Forum and Adel Omeragić, BS spokesman. On the other hand, the OVS delegation is composed of MPs, mayors and advisers of this party.
