Bosniak: Young people to contribute to the final democratization

Commitment is needed for as many young people in Montenegro as possible to recognize the need for final democratization and to contribute to that goal in order to finally become a society of equal opportunities for all, a society of the rule of law and the rule of law, which will reach the European standard of living, said the Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro Gore Branka Bošnjak.

She said this during a meeting with representatives of the youth umbrella organization "Youth Network", Andrijana Radović, Vice President of the Board of Directors, Jelena Fuštić and Elvis Berisha, members of the Board of Directors, according to a statement from the Parliament of Montenegro.

"The concept of youth is an intersectoral issue and it is necessary to open a broad and intersectoral dialogue and analysis of the current situation in order to improve the position of young people. It is necessary to create an atmosphere in which the community will systematically take care of young people, to recognize the needs of young people in a timely manner and encourage and respect them as interlocutors in the decision-making process," said Bošnjak.

In the press release, they state that Radović informed Bošnjak about the previous activities and future plans of the organization, and one of the most significant initiatives is the organization of the Youth Parliament in the Assembly of Montenegro, which, as the press release states, the vice-president of the Assembly "fully supported" and "committed to to intensify the organization process itself by referring the initiative to the Committee for Education, Culture, Science and Sports".

"Radović also emphasized the importance that the youth umbrella organization has in Montenegrin society in creating the best possible policies for young people. The interlocutors also discussed the importance of gender equality for young people and concluded that in the coming period they will intensify the cooperation between the Women's Club of the Parliament of Montenegro and the Network for young people," the announcement concludes.
