The Ulcinj committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) said that the newly formed coalition in that municipality "continues legal fraud" and, as they claim, violations of regulations.
They announce criminal charges.
"After the start of the constitutive session of the Ulcinj Municipal Assembly, and a kind of attempt at legal violence to illegally elect the presidents of the Ulcinj Municipal Council and the Municipality of Ulcinj, yesterday's new actions, the newly formed coalition continued in the attempt of legal fraud and violation of regulations - of course, again illegally and by themselves team and unsuccessfully".
"Namely, in the desire to continue the session without preparing for the vote, without holding consultations with the aldermen's clubs, and without the chairman of the session prescribed by law, those who plead to be the leaders of our municipality show gross ignorance of legal procedures and regulations. By doing so, they are grossly violating the Rules of Procedure to the work of the Assembly, they also showed elementary ignorance of positive legal norms," announced the DPS from Ulcinj.
They said that such "attempted arrogant behavior" by those who "perpetrated unprecedented police repression and brutal abuse of state resources" during the pre-election campaign and during the voting, as well as those who "betrayed the electoral will" by forming a coalition with such partners, is not at all surprising. citizens, themselves became participants in such repression".
"This kind of action by an unknown and (un)principledly 'concluded' coalition represents just one more violation of the law in a series and a continuation of the violation of the legal order, and the Democratic Party of Socialists, as a responsible entity, will file criminal charges against all those, including some civil servants, who dared that according to the interests of certain parties, abuse their official position and exceed their powers and try to suspend the law," the announcement concludes.
