DPS Ulcinj: We will file criminal charges against all participants of legal violence, Nimanbegu exceeded his authority

The Ulcinj Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced that it will file criminal charges against all those who participated in the "implementation of legal violence", thus characterizing today's "illegal and illegitimate" session of the Ulcinj Municipal Assembly at which "an informal group of citizens" elected Omer Bajraktarija, the holder of the list "For a new beginning" backed by the Civil Movement (GP) URA, for the holder of "a position known to them".

The Ulcinj DPS says that nineteen councilors, led by Genci Nimanbegu (Forca), entered what they say is the zone of criminal responsibility, "exceeding their powers and committing a criminal offense under Article 416, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro, for which the Special State Prosecutor's Office is in charge."

In the press release, DPS Ulcinj also highlights the actions of the administrative inspector, who, as I state, was an accomplice in "today's illegal action" because, by abusing his authority, he completely illegally supervised an entity that cannot be the subject of administrative supervision, and on that occasion he apparently acted on someone's orders .

"Everything that happened today represents a classic abuse of official position, and that was according to a political order to which, unfortunately, the Police Directorate also obeyed. We will legally insist that all the facts and circumstances of today's session be established, and the public should know that the persons who were elected today have no authority whatsoever. since they were elected at an illegally held session with a brutal violation of procedure," the announcement concludes.
