After the Social Democrats (SD) committee in Berane assessed that the rotating model of performing the function of the President of the Municipality in Berane is "devaluing and degrading the most important local political function", the Democrats' committee there reminded that it was the SD that was part of the ruling coalition in Ulcinj that agreed to the same model of exercising power.
"Cynics, according to the SD, would conclude that the rotating model of holding the office of the municipal president in Berane, agreed between the constituents of the government, is 'devaluation and degradation of the most important local political function'. Cynics, to whom the SD appeals in Berane, must have all the opportunities be some other cynics than, say, the cynics from Ulcinj. Because if the same cynics were involved - which we justifiably doubt based on the announcement of the SD - they would have to conclude that the agreed model of government in Ulcinj, according to which the coalition 'For a new start' agreed on, is the same rotating model at the head of the Municipality with Force is the same devaluation and degradation of the most important local political function. They remind that, according to the coalition agreement, for the first two years the position of president of the Municipality of Ulcinj will be performed by a representative of the Coalition 'For a new start', and for the next two years by a representative of the Force.
"So the conclusion naturally arises that either these are party cynics, or they are not cynics at all, but hypocrites masked by a failed attempt at cynicism.
