The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, met today with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denis Shmigalja, in Kiev, where he is staying together with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Ram.
As announced by the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, Šmigalj thanked Abazović for the support that Montenegro provides to his country, stressing that the support of our country and the adopted sanctions against Russia are important for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic path.
According to them, Abazović emphasized in his conversation with Prime Minister Shmigalja that Ukraine, in addition to fighting for the preservation of the territorial integrity of its country, also preserves European democratic principles.
He added that today's message was very important for the members of the Alliance from the Western Balkans to send a message of peace and the importance of preserving stability on European soil.
"We wish you to remain strong in the fight for the freedom of your citizens. War and killing cannot be a solution in the 21st century," Prime Minister Abazović concluded in his conversation with Šmigalja, according to the announcement.
