In the coming period, the Democrats will show the former most persistent voters of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) that they were right when they canceled their support for the movement in which they invested so much pain and suffering. The movement that left them on the back burner overnight without any explanation, while their leaders embraced those they had been against on paper for decades, announced the Municipal Committee of Democratic Montenegro Berana.
The Democrats of Berane reacted to the announcement of the SNP after the session of the presidency of this party, in which they stated that "according to the actors of the adventurous act of forming the government in Berane, they will strictly adhere to the principle of reciprocity both in the municipalities and at the state level".
Addressing the citizens of Beran, the Democrats add...
"You also realized that the alternative is not and will never be those who deceived and stole the people. But you also noticed very well who is the brakeman of the city and who can move it forward. We understood your main message that you are not satisfied with how ( no) develops and how our city functions. In the end, in the elections and numbers, you showed us what kind of majority you want and what kind of majority you don't," states the announcement of OO Demokrata Berana.

As they say, they are satisfied that they managed to preserve the electoral will of the citizens of Beran.
"As the bearers of the future government, we have shown today that we sincerely want to defend the will of the voters and none of us succumbed to pressures that would lead to rotten compromises prepared outside our city. We have decided to trust the people of Beranka more than the residents of some other areas. That is why we once again thank all the citizens of Beran, regardless of which party of the new majority they voted for. Your vote, which you gave in the period of the greatest political turmoil that Montenegro remembers, is brave and honorable. All the more, each of your votes is an even greater obligation for all of us. Your vote is our obligation to be braver, better, to justify all your expectations with dedicated work and to give you back the hope that was so cruelly taken from you by the recent coup in Podgorica," added the Democrats.
In the announcement, they also state that they know that big challenges await them, as well as that they know that they cannot expect "any favorable treatment from the forcibly installed Government".
"You knew that too, so you entrusted us with your votes and the fate of the city. We will show them that the ideals of a free and democratic Montenegro and prosperous Beran live in us. But they must also know that the laws and obligations that the state has towards the municipality must be carried out , because the time of unanimity is behind us, no matter how hard they try to turn the wheel of history," the announcement reads.
They also say that "one word from Tihomir Bogavac's address yesterday is true, the SNP would have gone to the elections as before in a broad coalition and would have 25 councilors".
"If there was even a hint of truth in your statements, all seven councilors would have been in the hall yesterday, not just four, which is probably the real strength of the Beran SNP. We are telling all well-meaning and other observers from the sidelines that the new majority in the municipality Berane was assembled in Berane and because of Berane. We did not agree to threats and blackmail from higher levels even when times were difficult, let alone today when the threats come from the weak 'Uroš'," state the Democrats.
The citizens of Beran were told that the doors of the Municipality are really open to them as of today.

1. Are you proud of the fact that Danijela Đurović, at the Council for Defense and Security, at the suggestion of Milo Đukanović, dismissed General Đurović and chose Milo's candidate as Chief of General Staff?
2. Are you proud of the fact that Zoran Đurišić, the husband of Milica Pejanović Đurišić, became an expert advisor to Dritan Abazovic?
3. Are you proud of the fact that, in 2016, Joković reported to ASK and personally signed a report in which it is stated that he is repaying a loan of 220.000 euros in installments of 120 euros, which means that he is returning it in a time interval of more than two average lifetimes in Montenegro - that is, for 153 years?
4. Are you proud of the fact that the loan is 220.000. euros from the Report that Joković submitted to the KAS in 2018, magically disappeared?
5. Are you proud of the fact that in 2018, Joković reported to ASK and personally signed a report in which a loan of 2.220.000 euros appears with installments of an incredible 2423 euros, which means that he will pay it back for 73 years?
6. Are you proud of the fact that this loan of 2.220.000. euros from the Report submitted by Joković to KAS in 2020, also magically disappeared even though there is no coverage for closing the loan in the report?
7. Are you proud of the fact that Joković's company "Citus" DOO, according to the report submitted to KAS in 2021, has no cent of income and assets, and in 2022, multimillion-dollar assets appear in the ownership of the same company?
8. Are you proud of the fact that Joković's company earned multimillion-dollar assets in just 12 months of DPS rule?
9. And finally, considering that you have been rewarded 21 million times for fraud, how much more money and functions do you ask to stop crying," the statement concludes.
