Marković informed the parliament about Ljumović's resignation

Montenegrin Prime Minister Duško Marković informed the parliament that the Minister of Culture Janko Ljumović has resigned from that position.

In a letter to the President of the Assembly, Ivan Brajović, Marković states that Ljumović informed him on October 4 that he was resigning from the position of Minister of Culture in the Government of Montenegro.

"I am submitting the aforementioned act as an attachment, in order to create the conditions for action in terms of Article 180 paragraph 3 and Article 181 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro," says Marković's letter.

Ljumović resigned from the position of Minister of Culture, as he stated, for moral reasons.

"The fact that I signed two public announcements by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and the group of professors of the University of Montenegro, regarding the decision of the Board of Directors on the dismissal of the rector of the University of Montenegro, leads to the aforementioned decision to resign," said Ljumović.

She states that he signed public announcements as an associate professor of the University of Montenegro, aware of the fact that this signature carries additional weight.
