Turčinović: I believe that by arresting Vukotić, the ideology of the complete economic collapse of Montenegro was brought into custody

Božidar Turčinović, a member of the Main Board of the GP URA, said that he believed "that the detention of (Veselin) Vukotić brought the ideology of complete economic collapse of Montenegro.

"I believe that she will be sentenced to life imprisonment, and her ideologue will certainly be given the opportunity to defend himself in the court proceedings for the crimes he is accused of, in accordance with all the standards prescribed by the law in that part," Turčinović added. , as stated in the announcement of GP URA.

As he pointed out, "war events, sanctions, inflationary shocks in the nineties of the last century were the key triggers in starting the process of the economic recovery of Montenegro.

"That process created a suitable ground for the activities of the so-called 'gravediggers' of the Montenegrin economy who, without a 'shovel' in their hands, and with the help of a pre-planned, clearly targeted and economically disastrous ideology, 'buried' our decades-old good which not long after that it was "resurrected" as the best asset owned by privileged individuals. And all this happened under the guise of the famous, and I can freely say, the malevolent "neoliberal concept" embodied in the person and work of Mr. Vukotić, who is not only the ideologist of this concept, but also the creator of the famous catchphrase about Montenegro as a Mediterranean 'tiger', who actually took on the role of a tiger himself and with his 'jaws', with the help of other 'tigers', tore apart the social 'prey' without leaving him a single ounce of space to live within the existing framework" , says Turčinović.

Turčinović adds that "this same Mr. Vukotić is also an ideologue of mass voucher privatization".

"Which at the same time had its own controversies and which also resulted in significant social assets from state ownership passing into the hands of privileged individuals or fund owners, all under the pretext that the state is not actually selling companies but buying strategic partners. Today we clearly witness how much was there strategy at all, and how much was actually extremely bad intent," concluded Turčinović.
