HURRY: Sinjajevina should remain an untouched treasure, the Government should withdraw the decision on the military training ground

Member of the Civil Movement (GP) URA Miloš Konatar visited Sinjajevina together with other representatives and officials of that party, in order to "send a message once again that the area of ​​that mountain must not be used for a military training ground".

As announced by URE, they said they support the demands of the citizens' initiative "Save Sinjajevina" and all citizens who want that mountain to remain an untouched treasure of nature and called on the Government to withdraw the decision on Sinjajevina as a military training ground from 2019.

"They said that the citizens of several northern municipalities gravitate around that mountain, that it is the second largest pasture in Europe and that as such it must not be devastated and used for purposes other than the primary ones - the development of animal husbandry and tourism," the announcement states.

They add that with the citizens' protest and the help of the European Greens, that mountain was saved from militarization and they call on the Government to "finally preserve this untouched gem of nature."
