Đukanović: It is allowed to raise two, four, five fingers, but only those three raise the hair on their head

President of the Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda (EPCG) and President of the Executive Board of New Serbian Democracy (Nova) Milutin Đukanović said that the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) "hit" by his "holding three fingers over his heart during the singing of the national anthem at the Berane Municipality Day celebration and that the party directed "its frustrations" at him personally, as well as at the political alliance to which he belongs.

In response to the statements of DPS Executive Board member Boris Muratović, Đukanović stated that "according to them, it is permissible to raise two, four, five fingers, but only those three raise the hair on their head".

"If it were only about outbursts of pathological hatred, we would not look back much, but, unfortunately, such phenomena are an example of a very dangerous state of consciousness. This state, which was carefully cultivated by the DPS for decades, led to them trying to normalize Serbophobic extremism, finding the idea of ​​removing Serbs from all state institutions, and finally from the state itself, to be completely acceptable, and even desirable. Specifically, when it comes to EPCG, in the last year and a half, the results that the predecessors, from the ranks, have achieved DPS, could only dream of: record profits, safeguarding the operation of key facilities, new development projects and, above all, the fact that citizens rightly see our company as a guarantor of the economic recovery of Montenegro," said Đukanović.

He added that he understands "that DPS has a problem with getting used to circumstances in which resources are not misused and in which, for the first time in forty years, new production facilities are actually being built".

"Of course, I don't expect them to understand the importance of investing in the future, especially before they learned in that party that stealing the future of our children, through thievery and destroying the natural and economic potential of this country, is a desirable model of behavior. it is not surprising that they perceive working in the most important company in Montenegro as a privilege that their peers used abundantly because they looted public property in a mafia manner and, as a bonus, received money for it. However, we are aware that the hardest thing for them is that for a year and a half with their work methods broke up. Yes, new workers came, because the old ones are not enough for us for new development projects, and certainly it is not our goal to leave to future generations as a legacy only production facilities, the last of which was built before than some from the DPS were born".

Đukanović said that he works in the interest of EPCG, "so I can say the following to all anti-Serbian chauvinists: you have not destroyed us, nor will such a plan ever pass."

"We, as a people, emerged stronger from each of your inactions. Now you just have to start behaving decently or continue wallowing in the den of hatred you yourself created," Đukanović concluded.
