The leader of the Buda DPS, Milan Tičić, said that with the departure of Marko Carević from the post of Municipality President, "the end of anarchy in the city has not been reached".
Tičić stated in the statement that Tsarević left Budva "covered with garbage, with communal services that are sleeping and angry tourists".
"When assuming the position of the first man of the metropolis of Montenegrin tourism, the former president of the Municipality of Budva, Marko Carević, said that he had proven himself as a host and entrepreneur, and that he recommended him for managing the city. Four years later, in his forced resignation, Tsarević singled out the "defense of the holy places" as the most important result of his entire mandate. Only empty words remained from the household business," Tičić said.
He states that Tsarević is most responsible for the decline of Budva as a tourist destination, as well as for the consequences suffered by Budva tourism workers and restaurateurs.
"In the era of Tsarević, only his family and the closest circle of associates saw the benefit. The competent authorities will have something to deal with, from the illegally occupied state land in Krimovica, through rigged tenders for the most famous subcontractor - the Carinvest company," Tičić said.
However, as he added, with the departure of Tsarević, the end of anarchy in our city is not over.
"The spirit of Tsarević's irresponsibility and lawlessness moved into the Board of Commissioners, which agreed to be an accomplice of the Budva DF in the cheap hoax they directed the citizens of Budva. The play in which Carević resigns from the post of municipal president, to be replaced by the holder of the DF list in the upcoming elections in Budva, Milo Božović, represents a brutal abuse of the Board of Commissioners for pre-election purposes. That's why we call on the Special State Prosecutor's Office to urgently review the entire case, from the appointment of Božović as vice-president of the Municipality of Budva, to the forced resignation of Tsarević, whose place should now be taken by Božović," said Tičić.
According to him, if the Democratic Front thought that with the forced resignation of Tsarević, they had finished their work for their list holder, they were seriously mistaken.
"A little while longer, and there will no longer be a government that has packed staff into the Board of Commissioners with the aim of assisting the Front and Milo Božović. And then the citizens of Budva will send Tsarević, Božović, and DF into political oblivion in the local elections," concluded Tičić.
