The Budva committee of the Democratic Front (DF) announced that the DPS leader Milan Tičić does not have the political weight to say anything about the Municipal President Marko Carević, reminding that an "organized criminal group" from the DPS "wrecked Budva".
"A new media appearance by the president of the Budva DPS, Milan Tičić, appointed by decree from Podgorica, has once again confirmed to us that the citizens are right when they say that there is no one in that OKG headquarters who can say something meaningful or at least with a grain of salt political weight. It is more than tragicomic that with banal phrases he insults all the efforts that Marko Bato Carević, as the president of the Municipality of Budva, together with his associates, made in order to correct all the wrongdoings committed by those who are now attacking him," they say in a statement from the Budva DF .
Probably, as they add, Tičić would like the citizens of Budva to "forget all the malware attacks that OKG DPS carried out in Budva" and thus by 2016 brought the municipal coffers to the brink of bursting due to a debt of over 50 million euros in listed liabilities and over 100 million euros in potential damages in the most corrupt business with WTE.
"We are glad that you yourself admit that the metropolis of tourism was led by a host who brought Budva from a deep deficit to a supporting pillar of the Montenegrin economy, as evidenced by positive budget rebalancing and a surplus of 5 million per year. We will continue to work with that dynamic under the leadership Milo Božović, who will give you such a political blow in the elections, from which you will definitely never recover. The political weight of Milan Tičić in Budva is best told by the fact that, as the newly appointed president of the municipal board, he did not muster the courage to be the list holder and manfully suffered a brutal defeat that he is inevitably expected in the next elections, but as an exceptional compromised person, he hid behind a lady, which is neither gentlemanly nor chivalrous, but DPS-like," DF pointed out and added:
"Citizens have not forgotten your modus operandi, according to which you entered into harmful contracts that you secretly signed, causing multimillion-dollar damage, and later admitted guilt to SDT, keeping the money that was stolen from citizens. In contrast, we do everything transparently, in front of the citizens who in the last elections recognized this and gave us the greatest support, which makes it clear to us that in the next elections this support will be even greater and therefore your political stable will be completely marginalized. And as for the cleaning itself, the most important cleaning of the city started in 2016, while the general preparation will follow on October 23, when there will not be any buttons left by DPS", concludes the announcement of DF Budva.
