The Fundamental Agreement does not fall with the fall of the Government, but its abuse is the reason why this Government falls. We also see that the URA does not give up helping the DPS and on August 16 voted for the separation of Zeta from Podgorica, to which the citizens of Zeta and Podgorica must respond decisively, but which is also one more reason in a series of reasons why this Government should and must it falls.
This was said by the president of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, during the field campaign in Bijelo Polje, as stated in the announcement of this party.
"These days, we are witnessing that the Basic Agreement is being blatantly misused in order to protect the outgoing chairs, and even propagandistically put forward the thesis 'who overthrows the Government, overthrows the Basic Agreement', while Metropolitan Joanikije himself recently publicly said that this agreement cannot be annulled without consent both sides, so it cannot be canceled without the amen of the SPC. It is clear, therefore, that the outgoing Government, and especially the SNP, are using the Basic Agreement as a fig leaf for the betrayal on August 30 and the brutal return of the DPS in depth, breadth and height. Behind stories about the alleged protection of the Basic Agreement are protecting the chairs of Ranko Krivokapić, Raško Konjević, as well as all those appointed officials of the DPS who were appointed thanks to the political trade of the SNP and the URE with the DPS," said Milačić.
He believes that after the signing of the Fundamental Agreement, the events in the Cetinje Monastery and other church buildings "showed how much the SNP and URI care about respecting and protecting both the property of the SPC and the Fundamental Agreement itself".
"The silence of some (SNP) and the participation of others (URA) in the form of filing a false criminal report against the nun clearly show their intentions," Milačić added.
He also commented on the upcoming local elections in Bijelo Polje.
"I am glad that our Committee in Bijelo Polje works in sync and very actively on the ground. Bijelo Polje and the entire north in general has been neglected and desolated for decades. We will work together with citizens on the improvement of Bijelo Polje with a high-quality plan and program. Our program covers all categories of the population and deals with the essential problems of the people of Bijelo Polje. Real Montenegro is ready for the upcoming local elections in Bijelo Polje, and here, as in Berane in the previous elections, we will be an indispensable factor in the future government," Milačić concluded.
Prava Montenegro adds that the party's political director Željko Savović, general secretary Aleksandra Deletić and the president of the Prava Montenegro Bijelo Polje Committee, Predrag Terzić, were present at the meeting.
