The president of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, said, after the meeting of the leaders of part of the old parliamentary majority, that several messages were heard at the meeting that the most fair thing would be for Prime Minister Dritan Abazović to resign.
"But he replied that the mechanism would be returned to Đukanović," Milacic told reporters in the Assembly.
He said that they were looking for a detailed reconstruction plan that should be signed by the URA and the SNP, then possibly by the other participants in the meeting. They would then send that proposal to the Democrats.
Milacic said that he expects Abazovic to submit a detailed plan for the future government.
"We have time for that, procedurally, this Assembly can last a long time, not only today. I think it is also true what we heard at the meeting that the resignation of Abazović would be important, because no position is more important than Montenegro. AKP reaches an agreement, we are ready to withdraw the decision of the presidency of Prava on the vote of no confidence in the Government," Milacic said.
When asked if it was acceptable for them to have Abazović remain prime minister, he said that they did not make a statement until they saw Abazović's proposal.
He added that he does not exclude anything that is the agreement of 41 deputies. "If we have that agreement, the Real Montenegro will be in favor of the agreement," said Milacic.
