The Club of Deputies of Democratic Montenegro thanked United Montenegro, True Montenegro, former Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić and the "Europe Now" Movement for, as they stated, "with their active participation", they brought down the Government of Prime Minister Dritan Abazović.
In the announcement of the Club of Deputies, it is also stated that the Democrats are together with these parties and the movement "exposed the behind-the-scenes and dubious agreements behind the scenes, of those who today cowardly strike through their media, with the intention of using false initiatives and behind-the-scenes actions to preserve the DPS Government at any cost, agreed between Dritan Abazović, Vladimir Joković and Milo Đukanović".
"Fortunately, we succeeded. The DPS government is no more. Not only the government is behind the armchairs, but also those who secretly overthrew the previous government and formed the 43rd government with URA, SNP, DPS. Now SNP-URA have a chance to prove that the DPS rented them for only 100 days, and did not buy them permanently politically," the announcement states.
The Club of Deputies of Democrats adds that "the people have experienced being betrayed by politicians so many times that it becomes an integral part of political life".
"It is sad. It is terrible. What SNP-URA did is unacceptable. We are not the ones who betrayed August 2020. We betrayed the will of the citizens. We failed those who gave us the power to remove the old regime. We in the fraudulent URA "We will not enter the SNP-DPS models. Thank you to everyone who waited patiently and stayed on the same side. On the side of the people," the announcement concludes.
50 deputies of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Democrats, Social Democratic Party (SDP), Social Democrats (SD), Liberal Party (LP), Bosniak Party (BS), Democratic Union of Albanians, Prava and United Montenegro voted for the dismissal of Abazović's cabinet.
The initiative for a vote of no confidence in the Government was previously submitted by 36 deputies of the Democratic Party of Socialists, the Social Democratic Party, the Social Democrats, the Liberal Party and the Democratic Union of Albanians.
