Citizens' Union CIVIS appealed to all political parties to make a full contribution to solving the political and institutional crisis in which Montenegro finds itself.

They announced this on the occasion of the initiative of the Democratic Front to hold a meeting of the former parliamentary majority in the Assembly of Montenegro and confirmed that their president Srđan Pavićević will attend the meeting.

"It is time to start solving the pressing problems of Montenegrin society together and without vanity. There are numerous options and possible ways of overcoming the crisis and ways of establishing stable institutions. CIVIS insists on a comprehensive dialogue of all parliamentary parties," said the Alliance.

They add that their priorities are meritocracy, the rule of law, Euro-Atlantic integration and citizens' standards.

"We appreciate that after the 2020 elections, despite the fall of two governments, visible results were achieved in the fight against organized crime and corruption. Those results are not enough for everyone, but for them to be even better, the contribution of all actors of the political scene in Montenegro is necessary. In accordance with democratic principles, we will, as every time before, respond to the call for dialogue," the announcement reads.
