Monday's working group on the Draft Law on the Assembly

The second session of the Working Group for drafting the Draft Law on the Parliament of Montenegro will be held on Monday, the parliament announced.

At the first session, it was agreed that the Draft Law on the Assembly should be completed by October 15.

Then the methodology of drafting the Draft Law was analyzed, the agenda and the deadline for completing the work were determined.

The working group was formed on July 25, when the parliament announced that the time had come to adopt the Act on the Assembly, as an umbrella document that would enable the smooth and professional functioning of that institution.

"With the adoption of this act, the Parliament of Montenegro will, for the first time since its establishment in 1905, have a legal regulation that, in the rank of law, will define its activities, functions and competences," the announcement says.

Representatives of all clubs of MPs participating in the Parliament were appointed to the Working Group for drafting the Draft Law on the Assembly.

The coordinator of the working group is Milosava Paunović, and the members are Suzana Pribilović, Predrag Bulatović, Momo Korivica, Branka Bošnjak, Bozena Jelušić, Suljo Mustafić, Boris Mugoša, Draginja Stanković Vuksanović and Genci Nimanbegu.
