The Presidency of Prava Montenegro authorized the party's president and MP Marko Milačić to participate in the negotiations on the election of new authorities, the leadership of the Assembly and the Government.
The Presidency of Prava, as announced after the session of the presidency of the party, welcomed the start of negotiations on the formation of a new government, "which will be based on the electoral will of the citizens from August 30, 2020, for which Prava Montenegro has been uncompromisingly fighting since the election".
"The Presidency of Prava Montenegro states that the agreement must be based on the fulfillment of principles that are in the general interest of citizens - the fight against organized crime and corruption, improvement of the socio-economic status of citizens, reform of the judiciary, electoral reform, stabilization of overall socio-political conditions... Presidency Prave Montenegro calls on the signatories of the recent political agreement of the parliamentary majority on August 30 to come to an agreement in order to deliver a democratic blow to those political and related criminal structures that, especially in recent days and weeks, are panicking at the card of destabilization of Montenegro, hoping for a possible disagreement the signatories of the Agreement", the announcement states.
They add that the parties that formed the government after the parliamentary elections on August 30, 2020 have an obligation that "the common past should and must be our common future, despite numerous differences and disagreements."
"Which should be left to the judgment of the citizens in the elections, and until then, with a wise, responsible and constructive approach, demonstrate unity through the formation of new government bodies that will stabilize Montenegro, strengthen it economically, calm tensions in society and prepare for new elections. The presidency stated panic action criminal groups of the former regime in order to create the well-known narrative of "coup d'état", "assassination of the president", "burning of institutions", in order to destabilize the state at the moment of the restoration of the majority on August 30, and through para-media points and their relays in the official media ".
Prava's press release also states that the party's presidency "saw that a large part of these 'special' criminal activities is aimed at Prava Montenegro".
"Which is to be expected considering our policy and attitude towards those political-criminal structures at the center of which resides DPS and Milo Đukanović".
It is also stated that the presidency stated that "months of intensive work on the ground before the upcoming elections have given satisfactory results, and that the Real Montenegro is ready to welcome the local elections".
It was also announced that in those elections "DPS will experience a debacle, even more impressive than in almost all local elections held after August 30".
