Nikolić: Threats to journalist Nikolić are a direct consequence of targeting by Abazović and his associates

Miloš Nikolić, spokesman and deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), announced that the threats addressed to journalist Danica Nikolić and a number of public figures are a direct consequence of targeting by the President of the Government of Montenegro in a technical mandate and the leader of the URA Civic Movement Dritan Abazović and his associates.

It was announced from the M portal that on Saturday several emails with threatening content were sent to the email address of the main and responsible editor of that media, Danica Nikolić.

"If the institutions do not protect the people Abazović is targeting, it is absolutely clear that their leaders will be complicit in this organized attack on dissidents of this government and their patrons. Freedom of the media is a key prerequisite for the realization of the rule of law and the full progress of Montenegro in terms of European integration." , wrote Nikolić on Twitter.
