Members of the Montenegrin Parliament should appoint the Zeta Municipal Election Commission (MEC) at an extraordinary session today.
The administrative board proposed that Nela Andušić be elected president of the MEC, and Tijana Trifunović as secretary.
Nada Ulićević, Veljko Kostić, Marina Stanović and Pavle Cavnić were proposed as members of the MEC.
According to the decision of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, elections in the newly established municipality of Zeta will be held on October 23.
The Montenegrin Parliament decided on August 16 that Zeta will be a new Montenegrin municipality.
According to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, about 12,5 thousand citizens have the right to vote in Zeta.
