Svetosavska announced today that it submitted the electoral list for the local elections in Podgorica on October 23.

"The Svetosava Serbian list - Let's gather for Nemanja grad - Mirko Rmandić, M.Sc., was submitted to the City Election Commission of Podgorica," the announcement states.

Rmandic said that he was honored to lead the election list.

"After the officials of the People's Party and the Serbian Radical Party, which ceased to exist, merged with the base and organs of the Serbian List, we are going to the elections for the first time in this format. I am honored to lead the electoral list, which will have at least five lists, each of which represents the program and values ​​that the DPS stood for when it was in power, so at least five DPS are going to the elections, and we are on the other side, Rmandić pointed out, writes in the statement of Svetosavska.

He added that "the former regime was defeated, with the help of the blessed Metropolitan Amfilohi, but the achievements and politics of the DPS survived".

"What would Metropolitan Amfilohija say if he were physically among us today? On August 30, 2020, voters voted to lift sanctions against Russia, but it was not done. They voted to cancel the decision to recognize the fake state of Kosovo, but it was not done. They voted against the NATO pact, but since August 30, every member of the parliamentary majority does not think about leaving NATO and swears that it is a better NATO ally than the DPS. DPS, of course, is still on the defense of the NATO pact. We are here to clearly say that we want the fraternization of Podgorica and Moscow, that we want the return of Nemanjina obala Boulevard, that we are looking for an exit from the NATO pact and military neutrality," Rmandić said.

He said that "there is no authority that would make us freeze the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation or the withdrawal of recognition of Kosovo for two years".

"We say what the people think. We are aware that in this nation there are honest and honorable Serbs, Montenegrins, and all others, but also people who sell themselves or behave according to the principle of ``how the wind blows''. Our goal is to vote for us every citizen who has principles and who is not a fraud. We will not divide anyone by religion or nation, but we will never betray Saint Sava and Saint Peter of Cetinje. We are a Russian story, we are a Serbian story and we are a true Montenegrin story of all those who did not betray Montenegro Petrović, Balšić, Vojislavljević and, above all, Nemanjić," concluded Rmandić.
