Only strong institutions, with political will and international cooperation, can successfully fight against organized crime, until every member of any clan is brought to justice, said Prime Minister of Montenegro Dritan Abazović.
He welcomed the action of the Turkish police which, in cooperation with Montenegrin colleagues, arrested members of a high-risk organized criminal group and, as Abazović said, dealt another strong blow to international crime.
"We continue our uncompromising struggle. Our results are visible throughout Europe," Abazović said on Telegram.
Milan Vujotić, a high-ranking member of the kava group from Podgorica, was arrested on an international warrant in Turkey.
Vujotić was arrested a few days after a major operation by the Turkish police, which, on September 19 of this year, arrested 12 people, who are believed to be connected with the liquidation of the leader of the Skaljar clan, Jovan Vukotić.
