The President of the Assembly, Danijela Đurović, said that the session, on the agenda of which is her dismissal, will continue after the request of the deputies who asked for a break.
She reminded that the Vice President of the Assembly, Branka Bošnjak, took a break at the request of the Parliamentary Club of the Democratic Front.
"The session is still open, Vice President Bošnjak adjourned at the request of the largest Club of Deputies, which was also the initiator of the initiative. As for me, I am ready to adjourn this session and convene the collegium and agree on the continuation. I expect that those who asked for a break, to submit the initiative, when the initiative is submitted, the collegium will be convened and an agreement will be reached on the continuation of the session," said Đurović in response to a question from MP Andrija Popović (LP).
At the beginning of today's session, Popović reminded that the session, on the agenda of which was the dismissal of Đurović, began on September 2 and that the break has already lasted 624 hours.
"You have to answer, because it can easily happen that, according to the Rules of Procedure, all the decisions at the sessions that were held in the meantime, will be null and void," said Popović.
Đurović replied that all sessions are scheduled in accordance with the Rules of Procedure and the Constitution and there is no reason to contest the decisions made by the Assembly.
The head of the DF parliamentary club, Slaven Radunović, asked for a break in the session that started on September 2 "and for the session to continue when the conditions are met."
He reminded of the newly created situation and the agreement of 41 deputies of the old majority, which will define matters regarding the new government and the new parliamentary leadership in the next 15 days.
The old majority proposed Miodrag Lekić (Demos) as the representative for the composition of the government, but the president of the state, Milo Đukanović, rejected the proposal and requested that the mandate of the Assembly be shortened and extraordinary elections be held.
