Preokret members Srđan Perić and Boško Milović were in Brussels, where they presented the program goals and strategic orientations of the movement.
As announced by the movement, Perić and Milović met with representatives of 14 member states of the European Union, as well as with associates of the Green and Socialist parliamentary groups in the European Parliament.
"In the presentation, the strong resolve of the Turnover towards solutions based on long-term sustainable development and the promotion of the principle of direct democracy was emphasized. The commitment of the Turnover towards green policies, public housing policies, protection of property rights and financial sustainability of local governments, and the need to introduce EU standards into the functioning of the system was emphasized - which does not mean only the adoption of laws - but also their application in practice," the announcement states.
