Why do children from Virpazar, Mrkojević, Sutomor, Ostros, Zaljevo and Đuravac not have the same rights to engage in sports, music, dance and other extracurricular activities? The municipality of Bar, headed by outgoing mayor Dušan Raičević, did not pay attention to this problem.
This was announced by the Municipal Committee of the Civic Movement URA Bar.
"Barska Ura will budget funds for free transportation of children from the rural areas of our municipality and thereby correct the long-standing injustice of the current government," the statement added.
According to URE, this decision will significantly ease the problem of parents for whom transporting children represents an additional burden on the household budget.
"On Children's Sunday, we remind you that all children must have equal rights to education and that every Sunday is Children's Sunday," the announcement concludes.
