Miloš Rajović, a candidate for councilor from the URA list "Can Bar, can Montenegro", announced that the party has a strategy for the development of sports in Bar, and that it will deal with the unequal distribution of the Municipality's funds so far.
Rajović assessed that, despite the huge potential, sports in Bar are at a very poor level, and that there are several reasons for such a situation, but that the most significant is the inadequate attitude towards sports and the lack of a proper strategy for the development of the primary goal, which must be professional work with children. .
"After the victory in the elections on October 23, the municipality will, under our management, through precisely targeted activities, help all clubs that work with children and thus create a great base for professional sports, and what is much more important - the conditions for the development of healthy youth," he said. he.
As the first problem, Rajović believes that the unequal distribution of the funds of the Municipality of Bar for sports is noticeable.
"The largest part of the allocated funds is invested in professional sports, which provides marketing and immediate satisfaction with the results, even sometimes through just one victory over some larger centers that have similar budgets as bar clubs," he points out.
Another problem that Rajović cites says has been going on for many years, and refers to a problem in the cooperation between the Secretariat for Sports and physical education professors, "which has the effect that school sports are slowly dying in the city under Rumija or working on 'muscles'".
"The result is that primary school teachers use their funds to finance a certain type of school competition in Bar. Doing school sports enables school competitions of different levels to improve motor skills, achieve results and create a basis for talent identification and the transition to registered sports. It must be improved the cooperation of all the clubs from Bar so that the children, through certain tests and the identification of an expert, would be directed in time to the sport for which they have an affinity," he concludes.
