Jasmin Bralić, a candidate on the committee list "The Real Thing, Coalition for a Better Life in Rožaje", said that the Municipality of Rožaje, after eight years of Bosniak Party rule, is facing the collapse of public finances.
"The debt left by the irresponsible staff of the Bosniak Party for eight years of rule in Rožaj has reached its peak. The municipality is in debt of almost 20 million euros, and yet not a single capital project has been implemented nor has a single job been opened in the real sector," says Bralić.
He adds that taxes and contributions on personal income have almost not been paid for the last 7 years, which is why employees cannot exercise their rights.
According to the announcement of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Bralić said that a third of the employees in public enterprises founded by the Municipality, as well as in the Municipality itself, "do not even come to work", while, as he says, the "success" of the current leadership when the February net earnings manage to pay in November.
"After the Coalition "For a better life in Rožaj" triumphs in the elections on October 23, we will manage the local self-government as a household, which will be the service of all citizens and not individuals," says Bralić.
He emphasizes that he will take care of quality and educated people, regardless of religious, national or political affiliation.
"We will work with all our strength and knowledge on the professionalization and depoliticization of local self-government. We will work on the construction of a city collector for the purification of waste water, and the construction of a city heating plant with biomass energy, as well as the rehabilitation of the city landfill," said Bralić.
Bralić also states that the Coalition "For a better life of Rožaj" will focus on the valorization of numerous resources and on improving the business environment in a way that will simplify administrative procedures, form a support service for entrepreneurs, farmers and beginners in business, and introduce a guarantee fund and start a business zone.
He also adds that great attention will be paid to infrastructure projects both in urban and rural areas, which, unlike the current practice, will be carried out in accordance with projects and project documentation.
The guarantee that all of the above will be realized are, as he says, educated, successful, accomplished, responsible and capable people from the list who have the vision and desire to return Rožaje to the right path, the path of prosperity and development.
