Sutomore is a pearl not only of the Bar Riviera, which in the previous period was not paid enough attention or invested in, said the candidate for councilor, Milena Božović, at the meeting organized by the newspaper "Radomir Novaković Cakan – Biram Bar" on the promenade in that Bar settlement. .
"One of the best examples of this lack of attention is the promenade that the citizens of Sutomore have been waiting for a long time. It is well thought out, but the implementation is not going exactly according to plan. That's why we at Biram Bar will do everything to finish the landscaping of the entire promenade and the square as soon as possible." , said Božović.
She added that throughout history, Sutomore and its surroundings have been recognized as a strategically important place, as evidenced by the Tabija and Haj Nehaj fortresses.
"Instead of being a tourist attraction, they are neglected. That's why we will do a project to restore them and thus improve the tourist offer," said Božović.
She said that Sutomore must get adequate sports and entertainment facilities for the youngest, which she says are still lacking.
In order to change that, she promised that at least one playground would be built in the first year of her mandate.
"In order to do everything we have planned, we must establish the Secretariat for Tourism in Bar, but also return the lower-level plans from Podgorica to the local administration for decision. Sutomore and Bar must be led by someone who has demonstrated his homely attitude through previous work," said Božović.
