The goal of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) is for Montenegro and Bar to be recognized as producers of high-quality food products, said Dalibor Šćekić, candidate for councilor from the electoral list "SNP - Fundamentally for Bar" in the local elections on October 23.
"Bar is a city of citrus fruits and olives, for which it is recognized throughout the region, Europe and the world. Our city and its hinterland is also known for its famous wines and brandy, homemade cheese and organic food that the hardworking hosts from Crmnica, Krajina, Mikulić, Mrkojević market to the bar market," Šćekić added.
He says that together with tourism, the production of organic food is a great development opportunity.
"Organizing purchase points in Krajina, Mrkojevići, Šestani and Crmnica will be our priority. Incentive measures for beekeepers and winegrowers as well," pointed out Šćekić.
What the list "SNP - Temeljno za Bar" will do first, says Šćekić, is to open the "House of Olives" in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture for real, not fake.
"As the home of all those who cultivate this ancient, noble plant. Professional help, subsidies, promotion of achievements in this area will find their place in the new House of Olives. The oldest olive tree in the world and the ancient olive groves of Bar oblige us to that," he said. is.
He also says that he will favor domestic and foreign credit lines, as a chance for all farmers from the municipality to have the opportunity to purchase equipment and machinery. Increasing greenhouse production will also be one of the priorities.
"The sea, olives, wine, citrus fruits, attractive coasts, eco-villages, countless sunny days will attract numerous foreign tourists who, fleeing the hustle and bustle of the city, are looking for peace in the picturesque parts of the municipality of Bar," concluded Šćekić.
