Jakov Milatović, the holder of the list of the Europe now movement, said that he had assembled a team of "exceptional people" who, as he stated, have not only knowledge and expertise, but also a great desire and enthusiasm to, with the help of citizens, make Podgorica a "real European metropolis".
Milatović, in the company of candidates for councilors, visited the settlements Blok V and Zabjelo and on that occasion talked with the locals.
"Residents of Block V particularly pointed out the problem of parking and access to the health center, kindergarten and schools, as well as the problem with the maintenance of building facades, which is a problem faced not only by the residents of this settlement, but also of the entire capital city. The residents of Zabjelo also expressed dissatisfaction with the attitude of the authorities towards this settlement, which is one of the largest and most populated in Podgorica, especially in the part that relates to the traffic infrastructure and connection with other parts of the city," the Evropa Sad movement announced.
They said that Milatović introduced the locals to the Podgorica Development Program for the next four-year period, particularly emphasizing the detailed development plans related to the improvement of the quality of life in the mentioned settlements.
"Podgorica has been devastated by the current government for decades, but a lot can be done in the next four years. I gathered a team of exceptional people who have not only knowledge and expertise, but also a great desire and enthusiasm to, with the help of the citizens, make Podgorica a real European metropolis," said Milatović.
