Jakov Milatović, the leader of the list of the Europe now movement, said that the Podgorica settlement Stari Aerodrom should be rounded up into a functional whole.
He spoke with the residents of that settlement and, as stated in the announcement, introduced them to the Podgorica Development Program for the next four-year period.
"Inhabitants of this settlement have expressed great dissatisfaction due to the numerous problems they face, especially when it comes to traffic infrastructure, unpleasant odors that spread from the landfill, etc.," the announcement states.
Milatović, as announced by the Movement, introduced the citizens of this settlement to the activities planned by the Program, which relate to the Old Airport.
Those activities, among other things, he said, include "improving traffic infrastructure and providing parking spaces, arranging the forest on Ćemovsko polje and introducing a smart waste management system, etc."
"Also, he stated that the construction of a primary school and a kindergarten is also recognized as one of the key priorities in the coming period so that the Old Airport will be rounded off as one functional entity that will provide quality life to all its residents," the announcement concludes.
