The previous two years have shown what Montenegro does not need and what Montenegro does not deserve, said MP and member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikola Janović.
"That's why she needs us more, all of us, more than ever before. Day by day, we prove that the knowledge and abilities we have in our ranks, which are presented in the best possible way through this Danilovgrad list, have no alternative, if we want that this city continues to develop", said Janović in Danilovgrad.
In that municipality, a panel discussion was held, organized by the Youth Council of the Danilovgrad DPS, where, among other things, candidates for councilors from among the youth on the electoral list "The Right Thing, Coalition Stably Forward for Danilovgrad" (DPS-SD- LP).
Janović said, as reported, that he is convinced that "the energy felt in the ranks of the Youth Council heralds another victory of our politics" in Danilovgrad.
Psychologist Anđela Novaković, who "expressed her full support" for the DPS-SD-LP coalition list, referred to the International Mental Health Day and pointed out that the Center for Mental Health functions in Danilovgrad, the importance of which, as she said, is recognized by citizens.
"I believe that local self-government in the coming period can provide even stronger support for the prevention of mental disorders. In that part, education is extremely important, within the framework of which young people can play a very important role. I believe that the Youth Council can be a serious resource for the realization of that intention in our social community," said Novaković.
President of the Youth Council of DPS Danilovgrad and candidate for councilor Milan Brajović said that he is proud, because the organization he leads has seven representatives on the election list.
"All this is a consequence of our hard and dedicated work, which imposed a new perspective from which the city looks at young politicians, but also secured the trust of our fellow citizens, which they express to us in their daily communication", said Brajović.
Marija Popović, secretary of the DPS Youth Council and candidate for councilor, recalled the results achieved by the Ministry of Sports and Youth headed by Janović.
"During that mandate, the first National Strategy for Youth was created, the development of local action plans for young people was started, the story with youth services was started, which served their purpose at that time," Popović pointed out, adding that the Danilovgrad local self-government "always had an ear" for all the needs and problems of young people.
Member of the Main Board of the DPS Youth Council and candidate for councilor in the upcoming elections, Miroslav Popović, said that the Municipality of Danilovgrad, although it is not primarily under its jurisdiction, has made efforts to improve conditions in educational institutions.
"I am convinced that in the new mandate, within the scope of our capabilities and competencies, we will have the opportunity to work on creating even better conditions in which the children of Danilovgrad will have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills that will ultimately serve this city," he said. Popovic.
The announcement states that the panel discussion "sent a strong message that on the wings of the energy of the youth, who put everything they know at the disposal of Danilovgrad", another "convincing victory for DPS and its coalition partners" in that municipality will be ensured.
