"The key problem that has hindered investments and the development of the local economy is the complex procedures for starting a business, for the acceleration of which an appropriate price had to be paid, and serious investors and healthy capital are looking for a safe and non-corrupt environment, which they obviously did not recognize in Bijelo Polje. there were domestic investors who in the meantime developed their business and acquired great wealth, and the very fact that they are mostly members of DPS supports our thesis that these are local tycoons who were privileged in all the previous years," said Nedović in a statement .
The board of the Movement for Bijelo Polje is optimistic that it will be an actor in the new local government and that it will have the opportunity to open the Investment Service Center, which will help and support investors in overcoming administrative and technical obstacles and encourage the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Nedović points out that the Center will gather experts who will continuously listen to the needs of the economy, proactively work to affirm Bijelo Polje as the best investment destination and promote innovative business solutions, especially in agriculture, wood processing, tourism and the IT sector.
"In order to encourage domestic investments, in synergy with the state government, which will certainly be the Europe Now Movement after the parliamentary elections, we will work on improving access to loans for small and medium-sized enterprises through the establishment of the Credit Guarantee Fund, the transformation of the Investment and Development Fund into the Development bank, as well as the establishment of the Innovation Fund", Nedović added.
In the end, Nedović says that a very important aspect of the new local government will be the strong political will of the Europe Now Movement to fight for local economic development and the establishment of the rule of law, emphasizing that the law must be the same for everyone and zero corruption, which in Nedović's opinion, basis for progress.
