Bijelo Polje has agricultural resources that have not been valorized in the right way and whose capacities have not been used.
This was announced by the president of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, addressing the citizens of Bijelo Polje as part of the pre-election campaign for local elections.
Milačić said that from October 23, Prava Crna Gora will be part of the government in Bijelo Polje.
"This means that, as soon as possible, we will launch development projects that, for the benefit of all citizens, will enable the use of the resources and potential that the Bjelopolje municipality has," said Milačić, as stated in the Prava Montenegro press release.
He said that Bijelo Polje has agricultural resources that have not been valorized in the right way and whose capacities have not been used.
"Imagine how significant it would be for the people of Bijelo Polje and for Montenegro if here, in Bijelo Polje, we produced domestic products and created jobs in various segments of agricultural production and product processing," Milačić pointed out.
He said that the development of agriculture and animal husbandry must be accompanied by the planned development of the processing industry, within which, as he said, plants for the purchase, processing and market distribution of agricultural products will be launched.
According to him, this would eventually restore its former position as a regional economic center, and give Bijelo Polje a dignified life and the opportunity to build a better and richer future.
He pointed out that he will advocate for the launch and development of processing capacities for the processing of fruits and vegetables and the creation of new domestic brands that, as he says, will best meet the needs of the domestic market in terms of quality and price, but also serve Montenegro as an export product that can be proud.
"For a city of developed economy and agriculture. For a city of industry, production and modern facilities. For a city where all people work and live from their work," Milacic concluded in his address.
In addition to Milačić, the holder of the list "Predrag Terzić – Prava Crna Gora – Let's keep our word - Marko Milačić" addressed the crowd, Predrag Terzić.
"Our city, where we were born, where we live and which we love with all our hearts, does not deserve darkness, carelessness and idleness," said Terzić.
He pointed out that he responsibly claims that those who destroyed, divided and drove people away will no longer manage Bijeli Polje and will not influence the lives of citizens in order to build businesses in an atmosphere of fake conflicts.
"On October 23, the last bastion of the DPS fell in Bijelo Polje. Bijelo Polje is our city, with a bright future and progress, and we are all liberating it together. We keep our word," said Terzić.
