Danilo Šaranović, holder of the list "Aleksa Bečić - Democrats - United Montenegro - DEMOS - "Let's go people", called on citizens to "unite in love" for Zlatica, Murtovina, Kakaricka gora and Podgorica.
Šaranović, as reported, pointed out the "numerous problems" that Masline has been facing for years, and noted that solving their obligations is a signpost in which direction the activities of the "newly elected local government" in the capital will move. As he said, it cannot be normal that Zlatica does not have a kindergarten, that Kakaricka gora does not have children's playgrounds.
"It's not normal for our level crossings to look like this. It's not normal for the Sava stream in Maslina to look like this. It is not normal for most of the side streets to look like this in your neighborhoods and it is not normal for them to look like ditches. It's not normal that Masline doesn't have a primary school, but it's normal that if it rains in your neighborhoods for more than two hours, you can only get home in boats or fishing boots," said Šaranović.
During the presentation, as reported, he also addressed the current mayor of Podgorica, Ivan Vuković.
"Mr. Vuković, if I don't answer you where I am, I will answer you where I am not, where I am not and where I will never be. You will never find me, nor any of these people in the SKY application, you will not find us in any of clans, you will not find us among the professional smugglers, nor among the amateur smugglers. And you will not find us anywhere in the dispute over the distribution of the loot that the DPS and some other party with whom we, the DPS, won together two years ago," said Šaranović .
The Vice-President of Democratic Montenegro, Momo Koprivica, said that at this moment "it is fundamentally important and that it cannot be indifferent" to whom the citizens will vote, show confidence and entrust the mandate.
He assessed that trusting "those who lied to the people decades ago" would lead to playing with the freedom of citizens.
"Beware of those who betrayed the electoral will of the citizens, beware of those who aided the betrayal, and those who betrayed the one who politically created them. Such people will also play with your freedom", Koprivica said, saying that "freedom must be preserved", and that on the list of which he is a representative, there are free people who "no one can keep in their hands".
The president of DEMOS, Miodrag Lekić, speaking about the upcoming elections, said that it is important to perceive that Podgorica shares the fate of the state and that the state shares the fate of Podgorica, so, as he said, there is a real need for the capital to get a new mayor, i.e. a new management.
"It is our duty, not only for Podgorica to be managed in a quality manner, but it is also our duty to restore the values of August 30," Lekić said.
As he stated, free and autonomous people live in Maslini who showed resistance to a system that looked primarily at their own interests, and then at Podgorica.
The candidate for councilor Željko Furtula (United Montenegro) pointed out that a vote for the coalition of which he is a part is the right vote, because the people who make up that coalition are ready to solve problems.
"That's why, people, on October 23, vote for this coalition, for people who did not trade with your trust. Let's go, people, to evenly develop our Podgorica, let's go, people, to return a dignified life to our citizens. We go to Zlatice, Masline, Murtovina, Doljani and Kakaricka gora. Let's go proud Kuči! Let's go for the best list. We are going for the best candidate for our mayor, Danilo Šaranović," said Furtula.
