Bečić: Eternal Montenegro can only exist with economically strong people

Eternal Montenegro can only exist with economically strong citizens in every part of the country, said the president of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić, at the final convention of the coalition "Let's go, people" - Democrats, United Montenegro and GP "People and Dot" in Bijelo Polje.

Bečić, at a gathering at the Cultural Center there, said that those who ruled Montenegro for three decades "don't know what true eternity is."

"They often talk about being endangered, they often talk about eternity, but they don't know what is eternal Bijelo Polje, nor what is eternal Montenegro. It is not the eternal Montenegro that they created in such a way that two criminal clans dominate Montenegro. Montenegro is not eternal, the one that they were in debt and slandered. It is not an eternal Montenegro that has made us very often, I believe, those like that, to be ashamed of our ancestors, and especially to be ashamed of our descendants and our youth, which takes a one-way ticket and leaves Montenegro. It is not a guarantee of eternity, but of the decline of Montenegro. Because eternal Montenegro can only exist with economically strong people, and with people not only in Podgorica or Budva, but with people in every region and every village of Bijelo Polje, Rožaj, Pljevlja, Žabljak, Petnjica, and all beautiful parts of this beautiful and happy country", said Bečić.

He pointed out, as reported by Demokrat, that Montenegro "finally got new people who are treading the paths and roads of a truly eternal Montenegro". "The eternity of Montenegro lies in the people. It lies in the youth and in the old. It lies in the workers, it lies in new workplaces, it lies in the strengthening of economic freedoms of citizens, political freedoms, social freedoms," he added.

Bećić said that, after taking power after August 30, 2020, "in addition to the fact that many dubious things were inherited", everything that was created was given to the citizens.

"I ask you, respected mothers, and we were together on those sidewalks in front of the Parliament of Montenegro a few years ago — did I give you a word with these people that we will return your fees when we take over power? Have we refunded the fees and are you receiving fees all these months? You receive of course.

"Dear children and dear parents, when I assumed the position of President of the Assembly, did I promise that with these people I would ensure that every child in Montenegro up to the age of 18 has child allowance and that every elementary school student in Montenegro has free textbooks? kept that word?

"Dear pensioners, in the program we shared with you for the parliamentary elections, did I promise you with these people that the minimum pension would be 200 euros and that all other pensions would increase? The holder of the Miodrag list, Migo Pajović, thanked the coalition partners for electing him as the holder and called on the citizens to "think about freedom".

"They didn't give you a job, but you earned it with your work, your relationship, your effort. They didn't give you loans, but you pay them back handsomely. They didn't pave the road for you, but you paid for it dearly. They didn't give you anything that you wouldn't have otherwise it also follows what you don't deserve. People from DPS, think and free yourself", said Pajović.

He said that he "does not have any scientific achievements and is not an expert", which means, as he states, that he is neither the best nor the smartest.

"That's why I invite smarter and better people to get involved and activate, start and get involved and not let superficiality determine our living environment. "There is no need to talk much about the evidence of urban and architectural chaos, about unbuilt roads, about stolen asphalt, about the installation of every cube of concrete, you have it at every step.

"I can only say one fact about the democratic disaster that befell our city. Between the two censuses carried out in 2001 and 2011, Bijelo Polje lost between 8.000 and 10.000 inhabitants. Those people were driven away by the local government of Bijelo Polje. We heard the phrase for ' European Montenegro' and what happened? We didn't get a European Montenegro but a thieves' Montenegro," said Raosavljević.
