The President of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić, pointed out, as reported, that it is an obligation to "seal the victory of August 23" in 30 by going to the polls on October 2020. It is, as he said, "the second half" which "we have to play as it suits us and as we are used to, and we must not falter and give up on that day, because on that day the freedom that we won is preserved."
He recalled the changes in government in Mojkovac, Cetinje, Ulcinj and Nikšić, "once the biggest strongholds of the DPS for three decades".
Bečić, referring to those who, as he said, "forced their people" and "served some clans and some drug dealers who made this country backward and who robbed this country", said that "their experience is eternity" was in it "to change flags, to change ideologies, to change domestic and international partners".
"Is 'eternal Montenegro' the judiciary that lies today in the prison in Spuž? Is 'eternal Montenegro' the youth that left Montenegro? Is 'eternal Montenegro' this nation that is emigrating from the north and heading towards the south and the central region and beyond the borders of the state? Is it eternity? No! It is the path to the decline of Montenegro. But we will not allow it, we who know what eternity is and we who belong to defend the true eternity of Montenegro," he said Becic.
He said that an economically strong, politically empowered, socially aware individual, citizen is the guarantor of "eternal Montenegro".
"That's why you're here and that's why we're here, to preserve and defend the eternity of Montenegro together because it belongs to us", said Bečić, referring to "those who betrayed once and who could do it again", saying that "we will not allow dances anymore".
"Please, gentlemen, let's all measure ourselves - to whom the people give how much support, that is worth. We are no longer interested in this concept, that concept. This blackmail, that blackmail. No longer will anyone be able to cheat, blackmail, change sides, monthly level and amuses about the misery, with one, two or three mandates of this people, who honestly and honorably won all those victories", concluded Bečić
The holder of the list, Vladimir Martinović, said that the presence of a large number of citizens at the gathering in Kolašin is a "guarantee of the historic victory over the regime" and the message that "treason and fraud can never be forgiven", and that the citizens of Montenegro have their own dignity, name and surname, honor and morals.

He also referred to the previous management of the Municipality, claiming that numerous decisions were made illegally.
"They ran it by buying expensive vehicles of 50 and 60 thousand euros in the middle of the corona crisis, they ran it by concluding contracts with construction companies and in that way also with illegal contracts they tried to trade in your human souls, to trade as on the eve of August 30, but they didn't manage to do that in Kolašin," he added.
Martinović said that today in Kolašin "we have a politically schizophrenic situation".
"A movement has appeared that needs to build something and do something. Some independent political figures allegedly gathered there, which is not true. That movement is nothing but DPS. It is the list of DPS and those who are on that list they actually support those who have been running this city for four years as a freak".
"I give my word to the citizens of Kolašin, that for us every village, every local community, every hamlet, every street in the municipality of Kolašin will be the same and treated equally, regardless of who votes for whom in those places. Regardless of whether there is one in those villages, two or three households that remained alive", concluded Martinović.
The President of the United Montenegro Goran Danilović, as reported, said that Kolašin was "first threatened with sinking, which led to the fact that nothing was invested in it for decades".
"When they stopped threatening Kolašin with submersion, then they threatened Morači monastery, which is the birthplace of all the inhabitants of this region," he said.
He thanked everyone "who were then in the majority, who decided that Morača Monastery Day would be the day of the Municipality of Kolašin" because, as he said, it was "the greatest day in our history".
"This October 23, every city should do what our entire community, the state did on August 30, 2020. We owe it to those who come after us," said Danilović.

The municipal organization Demokrata Kolašin unanimously elected the second convocation of the Municipal Board, which has 32 members, at the convention. Petko Bakić was re-elected as the President of the Municipal Board, the announcement concludes.
