Golović: Abazović opened a front with organized crime and corruption without fear for his life

Prime Minister Dritan Abazović opened a front with organized crime and corruption without any fear or concern for his safety and life, announced the president of the board of the Citizens' Movement URA (GP URA) in Nikšić, Dušan Golović.

He added that organized crime and corruption are especially personified by people like businessman Ranko Ubović and former assistant of the Police Administration Zoran Lazović, but also their political patrons, Minister of Defense and President of the SDP Raško Konjević and President of Montenegro and leader of the DPS Milo Đukanović.

Abazović accused Ubović and Lazović of smuggling cigarettes and cocaine at the session of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense yesterday.

"On August 30, 2020, we promised all citizens of Montenegro that this country will only be close to organized crime and corruption, cigarette and cocaine smuggling and other criminal activities and their performers. The facts are there for anyone who wants to see them, and they indicate that a lot of work has been done, despite various obstructions from all sides, which will certainly only increase in intensity. Nevertheless, we are still working unwaveringly and will continue in this manner, until the final goal of a free, European and ecological Black Gore - in which political mercenaries like Konjević, Krivokapić and Đukanović, as well as their financiers and patrons like Lazović and Ubović, will be marginalized and brought to justice," said Golović, according to the statement submitted by the URA GP.

Golović said that "GP URA Nikšić especially wants to emphasize the fact that we are proud of everything that Prime Minister Abazović has done so far, but that we also believe that he will continue to work on cases that through the activities of "ANB" or today they are trying to attach the small DPS to him, ministers or directors from our movement".

"I would like to tell everyone - to be extremely open and clear - there are no criminals or thieves in the GP URA, but honorable and responsible people who dedicated their lives to the civil and European state. Once again, we call on all investigative and prosecutorial authorities in Montenegro to investigate the case of smuggling cigarettes are examined to the end," added Golović.

According to him, on Sunday, October 14, the citizens of 23 municipalities in Montenegro will have a very easy task ahead of them.

"Let's vote for those who are on the right path, who lead an uncompromising fight against crime and corruption, those who will do everything to rid our local governments of this scourge," concluded Golović.
