We approach our fellow citizens responsibly, with concrete proposals on how to improve the field of sports and culture, and the goal is to hear their opinions, especially appreciating opposing views that we consider important in shaping the proposed initiatives.
This was said by the candidates for councilors of the coalition "Prava svatra, Zajedno Bar" Tatjana Bokan, Andrea Demirović, Almir Cecunjanin, Stevan Milošević and Miloš Lalević.
Today, in a hotel in Bar, they organized a forum for sports clubs and cultural workers of the city of Bar dedicated to the improvement of the mentioned areas.
On that occasion, Demirović pointed out that Bar needs a new Music School building that would house both the junior and senior music schools and that Bar, as a city with a rich musical history, would finally get what it deserves.
She added that it is necessary to renew the bleh music that would be the authentic musical seal of the Bar, to buy instruments, to find a space for their work, and to encourage potential musicians who want to deal with this type of music.
Demirović also pointed out the importance of the potential organization of a children's festival in Bar, which would encourage young musical hopefuls, and Bar would also receive a new high-quality musical content, significant from a tourist point of view.
Bokan emphasized the need to introduce scholarships for young athletes, which the Municipality would pay out according to previously defined clear criteria, which, as she said, would further motivate them to achieve top results and show that the city recognizes and values their sports successes.
"There is an urgent need to significantly increase the funds for financing sports clubs in the local budget, to adopt new, clearer criteria for the distribution of funds," said Cecunjanin.
He said that he believes that the increase should be predominantly aimed at clubs that are not owned by the Municipality, but also that "our biggest sports brands should be carefully taken care of".
Finally, Milošević presented his plan for the improvement of sports infrastructure.
"Specifically, he presented to everyone the model of the sports-recreational park "Trojka" as part of the sports complexes in Hungary, with the emphasis that Bar will receive significant, multi-functional sports facilities that will provide citizens with better conditions for playing sports," the announcement states.
