The holder of the coalition list "Let's go, people" in Plužine, Novica Gogić, said at the meeting in Plužine that the list has a plan to use the potential of Piva and create new jobs.
The president of the Democrats, Aleksa Bečić, said, as reported, that "there was no nicer place where he talked to the citizens." "Beer is God-given, all that we are witnessing in the beer region is something that you can rarely find anywhere in Europe and the world. Nature gave us what it needed, even more than that, but people are needed and that's why we say "Let's go people!", because people must be with people, people must be in front of people, people must follow people. Only when people are motivated, when they come together, when they unite, when they recognize the problem, when they are ready, and we are ready and have proven that we are ready to work for a salary and nothing more than a salary, then we can have victories, then we can have reforms and then we can have benefits for everyone." Bečić said that he knows that it is "not easy politically" for the citizens of Plužine to witness a form of government and management "similar to the one we won on August 30". "I believe that in these two years, you have become more convinced and understood more, both at the local and state level, and where the clean people are and where the popular people are and where there is a safe vote, and who you should follow. Plužine and Montenegro do not need one family to be replaced by another. We don't need dynasties either at the municipal or state level. We don't need one clan replacing another. We don't need professional smugglers to be replaced by amateur or semi-amateur smugglers. Both Montenegro and Plužine need people of the people, ordinary people, free people, people like us who, for all these years and decades of politics, have not increased their wealth by a single euro. We have worked, are working and will work only for a salary. We never embedded ourselves, never colluded with tycoons, never smuggled, never did anything dishonorable in politics. And that's why we're here with you and that's why we represent you and that's why you follow us, because ordinary, free people joined together and united", said Bečić. He told the residents of Piva to "watch out and guard against those who have shown that they are ready to let the citizens down."
"Beer never allowed the hand of the former regime to rule and govern here. Beer has always shown resistance to injustice and to everything that is a bad feature of the former regime. But some abused the voice, will and trust of the people of Pivlja and made coalition arrangements with DPS against their will. Some of what they did was that the most compromised leaders and officials of the former regime were returned and these days are being returned to decision-making positions, and they took revenge and replaced and dismissed the officials of Democratic Montenegro, people without a blemish in their careers and people who had not done anything dishonorable while they were performed those functions. But I'm sure that you also recognized all that and that the schedule of mandates this time will be significantly different than in the past local elections, than in the national elections. This time, you just have to choose safe options," concluded Bečić. The President of the Municipal Assembly of Nikšić, Nemanja Vuković, said that "everything is possible" when the Democrats influence the processes and when things are done fairly. "It's possible because we crossed paths with that hand that was stuck in citizens' pockets for years and that today no one should think of putting it back there again." He pointed out that because of this, people who have "vision, ideas, enthusiasm, energy and program" should lead Plužine and make Plužine a better place to live, because "there is space and opportunities, you just need to use them". The holder of the list, Novica Gogić, said that it is a devastating fact that the Municipality of Plužine used to employ more than two thousand residents in the economy alone, while today there are not even that many residents with a permanent place of residence. This, as he said, is one of the reasons that motivated them to "change Piva for the better", in order to ensure the development and valorization of agriculture and tourism in that region through a "superior program centered on young people, their knowledge, skills and abilities". .
He said that the Piv region has significant hydro potential, forest areas, agricultural and tourist resources, which are not properly used and valorized, and that the intention is to change this through the management of the "new local government".
He specified that in the coming period it is planned to ensure the high-quality functioning of hatcheries and ponds in Stabne, which would create the conditions to stock Pivsko jezero and increase the production of edible trout. "Our intention is also to valorize Pivsko jezero as a tourist destination, to make it much more attractive for tourists, so that the area itself will have greater benefits from tourism. We will arrange the beach differently, build an aqua park. This would also create space for the creation of new jobs. of tourism and agriculture — that is in the plan and that is our strategic goal", said Gogić.
He added that it is planned to complete the Wastewater Treatment Collector in the next four years, and that additional attention will be paid to the public's work of local self-government, through the strengthening of the local public service, that is, the opening of television studios within RTV Nikšić. Gogić assessed that the current administration has not done anything for years to make use of Piva's potential, and noted that "an autocratic government has been established in Plužine that has lasted for 20 years, and which has been reduced to the management of one man, who treats the entire population of Piva as own service". "The local self-government, of which we would be the bearers, will certainly be a service for the citizens. We must open the local self-government for the citizens, not to distinguish between who voted for whom, not to separate pensioners and young people into ours and theirs, but provide everyone equally "There is room here for people to live better than their work," said Gogić, adding that the local budget allows for investments in the sphere of agriculture, tourism, crafts, as well as the strengthening of all types of social benefits.
