Bošković: We will initiate the construction of a new school building in Kanje

"In the current school year, 86 students were enrolled in the Primary School "Mladost" Kanje, including three regional institutions," announced Tanja Bošković, a candidate for councilor from the Bijelo Polje can - URA can list.

The announcement states that "in the previous period, a new school building was built in Dobrakovo, while two classrooms were renovated in Dobrinje Primary School with the help of citizens and donors. In Mioča Primary School, one classroom was renovated and adapted for teaching."

Bošković points out that as far as the home school in Kanje is concerned, the situation is much worse. "In the previous period, little was invested in improving working conditions," she said.

He emphasizes that the school building, which is about one hundred years old, has not withstood the test of time.

"At every step you can see images that do not befit an educational institution. When you approach the school building, you are greeted by the image of a dilapidated old building, with excavated and darkened walls. The windows and doors give off an image of dilapidation. The roof of the building leaks, so buckets are frequent guests in classrooms," she adds.

He points out that "it often happens that during the heating period the stoves, in which coal is used for burning, get clogged - so it is difficult to hold regular classes. All this speaks in favor of the fact of the dilapidation of the school building and that in the coming period efforts should be made to a new school building is built".

"We will initiate the construction of a new school building", emphasizes Bošković.

"Teaching at the school is carried out by 22 teachers with exceptional efforts, achieving enviable results in the educational process, as well as in various types of competitions, both at municipal and state competitions. This is evidenced by the numerous diplomas in the hall of our school," concluded Bošković. .
