Vojvodić: We will dedicate ourselves to tourism, Danilovgrad to achieve the prosperity it deserves

The candidate for councilor of the list "Danilovgrad can, Montenegro can" Dejan Vojvodić announced that the list will devote itself to tourism, so that Danilovgrad can achieve the prosperity it deserves.

He pointed out that Danilovgrad has great prerequisites for the development of tourism, but that this dominant branch of development, of key importance for economic stability, is completely neglected in that municipality.

"How many domestic and foreign investors have invested money in our city is the best indicator of how much the local self-government promotes the city and invests in the promotion of the city. Did the investors also pass through the filter of political suitability? I'm afraid they did. Who paid the price for that wrong filtering "Citizens, of course," announced Vojvodic.

He pointed out that Danilovgrad was founded to be the capital. "Which is very symptomatic because the government at that time knew how to recognize his values, unlike today's government, which does not even have the ears to recognize them," he adds.

Vojvodić also points out that Danilovgrad is the first planned and established city in Montenegro, which "is in contrast to the fact that it has been stagnating for years, without any investments".

"Danilovgrad has 18.000 inhabitants, 48 ​​churches, over 27 caves, the only art colony in Montenegro with an enviable number of sculptures, a local museum, the Spuška fortress and beautiful picnic areas. It owns the river Zeta, one of the jewels of Danilovgrad, with several bridges from different time periods," says Vojvodić.

He said that Danilovgrad lacks a "creative and ambitious government", which would use its rich resources and create a "tourist paradise for the benefit of all its citizens".

"This kind of government long ago deserved to be denied support. On October 23, Danilovgrad will finally get ambitious people with knowledge and vision, thanks to the support of the citizens. With these kinds of resources, it will become the city of our dreams turned into reality", concludes Vojvodić.
