All the problems of Kolašin, which they targeted in their election problem, can be reduced to missed opportunities and the gaping discrepancy between the possibilities that Kolašin has and what has been realized, claims Vladimir Martinović, the holder of the election list "Let's Go People-Democrats-United".
The solution to these problems, he says, is only "possible when the coalition "Let's Go People" is the pillar of the new government from October 23 and starts, from the first day, to work for every inch of the Kolasin territory, regardless of who votes for whom and for which party. belongs to".
"The prerequisite is that citizens go to the polls en masse and vote freely. Favorable geographical position, now additionally accentuated by the opening of the highway, and climatic conditions, are all prerequisites for the establishment of Kolašin as primarily a winter, and then a tourist center throughout the year. We had the opportunity to witness this in the first days of the opening of the highway. However, all this was not accompanied in the best way by the timely improvement of the road infrastructure. First of all, I mean the access roads and roads to the Kolasin villages and the lack of parking spaces and city garages, as in other Montenegrin municipalities. So it seems that Kolašin was left a bit taken aback and at a loss in the newly created circumstances, which if there had been a little more vision from the previous local authorities, would have only served him well. This is how the screaming contrast between enormous possibilities and their insufficient realization remains," says Martinović.
The list headed by him, he claims, designed "a high-quality and meaningful program that tries to approach these problems from different aspects." First of all, Martionović explains, he will deal with solving infrastructure problems "such as the missing sewage network, water supply network, lighting in suburban settlements, solving the issue of water supply in rural areas..."
"We also intend to, after taking over the government, make efforts to extend the tourist season, by improving the promotion of the tourist offer, by networking with travel agencies from the region and abroad, as well as by the participation of TO Kolašin at fairs and similar events. The suggestions of the tourism officials themselves will be listened to and respected more, with the awareness that they are the most familiar with the problems and needs of Kolasin tourism. Of course, in order for us to be able to deal with the promotion of Kolasin's tourist offer, it must be accessible. Therefore, our determination to work on, for example, the promotion of religious and rural tourism, is inseparable from our determination to improve the road infrastructure to the Kolašin villages", says the holder of the list "Let's go people - Democrats - United".
Such commitment, Martinović claims, guarantees multiplicative effects. According to him, "in addition to making life easier for rural households in the territory of the Kolašin municipality, it will also result in better and more promising prospects for the development of ethnic and religious tourism in Kolašin".
"Agricultural farms in the territory of our municipality will not be left without positive effects, because our farmers will have greater opportunities to visit and cultivate their farms and market their products. We are aware that agriculture, traditional crafts and rural ecotourism represent the backbone of sustainable rural and general development of our municipality," says the holder of the list "Let's go - Democrats - United".
In this sense, he explains, "intensification of communication between local communities and local self-government representatives is needed, and we will work on that". For the realization, as Martinović claims, of the ambitious program that they designed, "a quality staff is also necessary, which, he claims, exists on the electoral list "let's go people-Democrats-United".
"Our list consists of educated young people and more experienced colleagues, and most importantly, we are talking about honest people. It was not without reason that I invited the citizens to carefully analyze the lists of offered candidates in every municipality, especially in Kolašin. Whoever takes a closer look at our list will be convinced that it is made up of people who are capable of realizing everything that they have offered to their fellow citizens in their program, which is the cultural development of Kolašin through the creation of new cultural manifestations that will be the brand of our city, a new cultural contents, beautifying the city in all aspects, solving the water supply problem, solving the lighting problem in certain parts of the city, strengthening inspection supervision in order to develop the city as a winter tourist center..." says Martinović.
He reminds that part of the list headed by "more attention for Kolašin students, new locations for facilities intended for the youngest fellow citizens, attention for the oldest population, a healthy environment as a prerequisite for the development of Kolašin and conceiving it as a tourist center, solving the parking problem space...". Also "reconstruction and arrangement of city streets, tidying up the inner city core, solving the problem with stray dogs, as well as tidying up the city furniture". Martinović is sure "that the citizens will show great confidence in the list "Let's go, people-Democrats-United", because it was created for the people to whom it is already addressed by the name and slogan of the coalition under serial number 6 - "Let's go, people!"
