The Municipal Election Commission (MEC) Bar has announced that until further notice they cannot provide precise information on the final turnout.
The data after about 70 percent of the processed seats show that the coalition DPS-SDP-LP won 36,3 percent, the Coalition of Democrats, Europe now and United Montenegro 18,5 percent, the Democratic Front 12 percent, the coalition led by URA 9,2 percent , Social Democrats 9,8 percent, Biram Bar-Biram Cnu Goru List 5,5 percent, Bosniak Party 4,1 percent, Prava Montenegro 1,9 percent, Socialist People's Party 2 percent and Party of Justice and Reconciliation 0,6 percent.
Nenezić: The multi-ethnic Bar won
The holder of the "Novo vrijeme za Bar" list, Branislav Bane Nenezić, said after winning over 2.300 votes that he can say that the multi-ethnic Bar won.
"We can freely say that the multi-ethnic Bar won, which has always been the defender of civil Montenegro. Once, 30 years ago, everything started from Bar. Tonight it will start again. It will put Montenegro back on the right path," said Nenezić, and it is quoted in the announcement of the list "Novo vrijeme za Bar".
BS: Continued continuity of support for our policy
In the local elections in Bar, the Bosniak party recorded, with nearly 900 votes, a slight increase compared to the previous local elections and won one mandate in the Bar Municipality Assembly, the party said.
"With this result, we have kept approximately the same percentage compared to the previous parliamentary elections, which shows the continuity of support for our policy," the Bosniak Party's announcement states.
This, as they stated, is an excellent result if we bear in mind that during the election campaign, almost all the participants in the election misused local and state resources.
They add that confusion was also created with the change of polling stations for voters who did not change their residence, which additionally affected the confusion of our voters and lower turnout compared to the previous elections.
"After determining the final results of the election, we will analyze the results in more detail and decide on further steps in relation to our election program and the program principles of the Bosniak Party," the announcement states.
The Social Democrats are celebrating after the elections
Local elections were held in Bar today, and 39.854 citizens had the right to vote.
