They say that no matter what result you achieve in the elections, you always have a hard time. And you always think it could have been better. It's the same with us. We think we could have done better. We also asked ourselves last night - what are we going to do now.
This was announced by the "Biram Montenegro - Biram Bar" list, which won two mandates in local elections held yesterday in Bar.
"First of all, we offered fellow citizens, but also the parties, the program of the five pillars of Bar. To remind everyone - we did not talk about big topics at the state level, but about what is important for the citizens of Bar. We talked about the economy, infrastructure, social issues and culture, the problems of young people and the further progress of Bar. We are still open and offer everyone to take over our program. With us in power or without us. Baranke and Barani are still the most important to us," they state from this list.
They say that the politicians would say that the party's organs are left with what they will do, how they will do it and with whom the Radomir Novaković Cakan list will do it.
"That's what these politicians would say. We're not. We'll sit down and talk like friends. That's what we were four or five years ago when we were created. That's what we still are today. The most important thing stands out is the fact that they're only in Bar, Local parties survived in Tivat and Herceg Novi. Those that do not have a headquarters in Podgorica and have been dedicated to local problems since their foundation. Much more important for all other parties in Bar is - what are we going to do now," says "Biram Montenegro - Biram Bar".
They say what to do next, when those who are considered the winners of the Bar elections are at loggerheads with the authorities at the state level.
"Who will knock on their door and ask for money or help with projects that are extremely important for our city. Will those in Podgorica be blinded by party divisions and put Bar on some kind of 'black list'? Will party discipline or love prevail among the parties towards our city. And ultimately, the responsibility we have towards our fellow citizens," the announcement reads.
They also add that many promises were heard during the campaign.
"And what are we going to do now? Is it no longer valid, because the campaign has passed. Will we, in practice, once again witness the saying that in love and politics all promises are allowed. Even the unbelievable ones. Because of this, and in the end, the same question for all actors of yesterday's elections. What are we going to do now", they conclude in the announcement.
