The leader of the URA Civil Movement and Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that he was extremely satisfied with the results of the local elections and that Montenegro had made an exceptional democratic step forward.
"I am extremely pleased, even a little surprised, beyond what my expectations were. I think that Montenegro is generally going in the right direction and that the political scene has been demonopolized. That's what we were looking for, that people have significantly freed themselves compared to the previous period, and of course the reward and punishment system will function in the coming period as well," Abazović told reporters after participating in the International Conference for the Protection of the Ulcinj Salt Mine.
This, as he pointed out, is extremely important for the "development of our democratic being".
"I think that we have made a significant democratic step forward as a society and that Montenegro is changing for the better every day. Personal solutions, what and how, parties... are less important, people want progress, novelties and to catch up with the modern world," he concluded. is Abazović.
