"I am extremely grateful to all my fellow citizens, who believed in our coalition and supported our idea of changes in Budva. Thank you also to my comrades from the list, for their perseverance and belief that we are doing the right thing.
"The concept of the development of the city and the state that we represented, this time did not receive the majority support of the citizens of Budva, who during the election day showed their democratic responsibility, exercised their right to vote in a high percentage and elected people to represent them in the next four years.
"We respect that fact, but at the same time, driven by the conviction that a Mediterranean, civil, multicultural Budva is the only possible vision for the future of our municipality, we continue our joint struggle with even greater zeal. We will be a constructive and responsible opposition in the local parliament," Mitrović announced. .
