The real Montenegro achieved its general goals with the local elections held, and they consist, first of all, in the total expropriation of the previous regime, announced the Presidency of that party.
When it comes to success in the cities, they point out that they will be represented in the convocations of local parliaments and will be part of the government in Podgorica, Zeta, Danilovgrad, Žabljak and Pljevlja.
As they say, they are now represented in a larger number of local parliaments than before the local elections. "We express our open satisfaction for the evident success and increased representation," the announcement states.
They point out that they did not achieve the planned result in Budva, Bar and Bijelo Polje, so the work of the party in these municipalities will be the subject of a special organizational analysis and local reforms.
They emphasize that, "The presidency notes the false narrative according to which the party allegedly "spilled" votes in Bijelo Polje and Bar, and that according to the "Dont's formula" the allocation of mandates in these two cities would be in favor of political allies and that the DPS would allegedly win in these cities, in case Prava Montenegro joined one of the pre-election coalitions". They conclude that in Bijelo Polje and Bar, the possibility of the DPS to form a local government with parties close to it would be the same if they joined one of the pre-election coalitions.
They cite the example of Bijelo Polje, "where the DPS won 15 mandates, and the Bosniak Party won 4 mandates (out of a total of 37 mandates), applying Dont's formula, the DPS and the Bosniak Party would have 15 and 4 mandates, while one mandate that would be won by a coalition in which possibly Prava Montenegro and other political subjects below the electoral census, was taken from an electoral list from the corps of anti-DPS forces".
They believe that there would be a redistribution of mandates on essentially the same political side, without affecting the DPS and the Bosniak Party. They refer to the same thing when it comes to the results of the elections in Bar.
"True Montenegro does not question the need for political unification in the fight for genuine regime change, but everyone should keep the truth and facts in mind when questioning the decisions of the party that gave one of the strongest and most sincere political sacrifices for that fight," he says. in the announcement.
They believe that the party's policy achieved strong results in the local elections held on October 23.
"The focus of the political party in the coming days will be on negotiations on the formation of authorities in five local areas, led by Podgorica," the announcement concludes.
